My Californians,

On this Twenty third day of the Twelfth month of the Twenty third year, I do hereby declare this day to be a Legionary Day.

As we near Christmas be informed that the holistic dedication of oneself to external exigencies with resolute action is the utmost highest calling for the man of Legion. The Legion as a temporal insitution exists in many facets remnant of what once was a mighty calling to the ancients, and in these times the remaining firmaments of legiondom still hold true those old factors which once made it so. The Legion is an international expeditionary movement which calls men to donate their bodies and physical strength to the cause of peace through war. Modern Legiondom consists of volunteers traveling to join the military of humandom and fight absent of border and allegiance beyond Legion itself. Therefore let it be celebrated on this day.
