From the Mountain

My Fellow Californians,

With respect to the changing nature of society which has outgrown the vestments of antiquity which has to date ruled the daily torpor;

With understanding of the great cataclysms of manmade efforts which have constructed monuments that fundamentally transfigure the nature of communion and propriety;

With acknowlegment of the vicissitudes of power separating the people from control over their own destinies, and at various times past have cycled from the mobilization of potestas to abnegation of it;

With condemnation of the manmade fundaments of propriety which now subjugate pollency, which have constructed expressly to instantiate the systems of questions and answers which negate the entelechy of all collective human effort and all ability to enact change in our circumstance;

With appreciation for the might of war to overcome adversity, frustrate prepotency, corrupt iniquity, and defeat atrocity;

With affirmation that War is the highest virtue of man, the culmination of all human efforts, the most powerful force of creative destruction, ultimate invention, and purpose of our species;

With necessity of the union of human efforts to utilize war, through the creation of the Legion, to join in collective effort to strive towards common victory;

With the commandment that the Legion be a force for good in all its strivings, and commit to the pursuit of common indemnity;

With rejection of the defeat of the common effort and with understanding of the repetitive nature of struggle, the need to try again, and resolve as the legionary mandate of man is to persist and succeed;

And with the declaration in this Year of the Vicennial that victory shall be declared over inhumanity;

BE IT HEREBY DECREED:

The PROCLAMATION of myself, Montenimbus Bellipotentibus Antesignanus Rex: IMPERATOR, Emperor of California, Legatee of the Legion, Custodian of the Free Territory, Pater Patriae, and Katechon of the Monde;

The LEVY of The Great California Legion to unite arms and engage to this end;

The DECLARATION of War on Human Suffering, Strife, Enslavement, and Atrocity.

EUREKA,

The Emperor of California, C.S.
